Looking for the perfect summertime salad? Spinach Salad with Strawberries, Peaches and Homemade Poppyseed Dressing will be your new “go-to” recipe! I frequently serve it at a dinner party because it’s beautiful on the plate and can be tossed together before guests arrive.
Spinach Salad with Strawberries, Peaches and Poppyseed Dressing
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons white vinegar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons poppyseeds
- 1 bag baby spinach
- 1 cup strawberries sliced
- 1 peach thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup almonds sliced (optional)
Whisk together mayonnaise, milk, sugar, white vinegar and poppyseeds to make the dressing.
Toss together spinach, strawberries, peaches and almonds with the dressing about 30 minutes before serving.
Thanks to my friend Unna for the dressing recipe!

Holy cow, that looks fantastic. Can something really be healthy AND good? lol
Well…the dressing might not be that good for you, but it makes the salad!
Yum, that sounds delicious!
If you get a chance to make it, please come back and rate it! Thanks!
That’s how I like my salad!!!
I just recently discovered using apple cider vinegar with mayo to give a salad a sweeter taste. I wonder what the difference in taste is in the salad between apple cider and white vinegar?
Let me know if you try it with apple cider vinegar. You may want to use a bit less sugar.
Yum – I love spinach and strawberry salad!
And the peaches and almonds are like the icing on the cake!
This looks fabulous. I have company coming this weekend and will give it a try!
