Granola Bars

Ingredients
- 2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 3/4 cup raisins craisins, chocolate chips, M&M's, nuts, flaxseeds or whatever you like.
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350.

Spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray.

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.

Press into the prepared pan.

Bake for about 18 minutes or until light golden brown.

Cool 5 minutes and cut into rectangles.

Cool completely.

Store in an airtight container.

That’s exactly why when I have the time I like to make my own stuff–because I know exactly what’s in them. I’m still trying to figure out lower sugar options of all of these, though. So, if you ever try it or find a good recipe, let me know!
You could easily reduce the sugar a bit, and I bet your kids won’t know the difference! If they like raisins and dried fruit that will add some natural sweetness.
