Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts boneless, skinless and cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 envelope reduce sodium taco seasoning
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 16 ounce jar low sodium salsa, divided
  • 1 8 ounce package low fat cheddar cheese, divided
  • 36 wonton wraps

Instructions

  1. Grab a skillet and apply non stick cooking spray and put on medium heat.
  2. Put the chicken on the skillet and add the taco seasoning. Mix in order to completely cover the chicken with the seasoning. Cook for about seven minutes making sure to stir frequently until all the juices are gone.
  3. Put the chicken in a mixing bowl. Put onion and mix. Add half jar of salsa and half of cheese. Stir.
  4. Switch on the oven to 375 degrees, Apply non stick cooking spray on each cup of muffin tin.
  5. Grab the wonton wraps and place them on every cup. Place them in the oven and wait for 4 minutes or up until it becomes pale golden brown.
  6. Get the cups and fill them with chicken mixture. Put each cup with salsa and dash of cheese.
  7. Return the cups into the oven and bake for 8 minutes or up until the cheese has melted.
