Is The BrandBee App Legit & Worth Using? – I Tested It Out!

A rewards app called BrandBee has been growing rapidly in popularity, with over 1 million downloads between the Google and Apple app stores. And this legit app pays you to answer paid surveys, play games, shop, watch videos, and even just for sharing your data.

Now, BrandBee actually used to be called Mobile Performance Meter – another cool passive income app. And this is an app I used for years during my phone farming experiments back in college.

I decided to spend some time testing out BrandBee since its rebrand. And honestly, it's a very versatile app. And I love that it still has some passive earning potential. However, qualifying to join the app can be pretty tricky, so keep this in mind.

BrandBee is a rewards app that pays you to complete short, simple tasks from your phone. And the app is available in North America, the UK, and Australia.

Like I mentioned, BrandBee used to be a passive income app called Mobile Performance Meter that let you get paid for your data. But now, the app has completely revamped its UI and earning options.

It still has passive elements. But BrandBee now has way more offers and is more similar to apps like Freecash and Scrambly than just being a passive income app.

How Does The App Work?

You can sign up for BrandBee for free with your email or Gmail account. From there, you enter your birthday and gender. After that, you have to let BrandBee check your device type, and it tells you if you're eligible to join the app or not.

This is honestly pretty frustrating since some older phone models don't qualify. I can't find a list of allowed devices either, which is frustrating. But generally, a relatively recent phone should be eligible to join BrandBee.

From there, the app has tons of ways you can start earning coins. Some of the main options include:

• Answering surveys
• Playing games to make money
• Watching short videos
• Referring your friends
• Shopping and completing offers
• Scanning receipts for money

In my testing, I've found that BrandBee has some pretty high-paying surveys. Many of them in my account pay $1.50 upon completion, which is solid. And some of the gaming offers – especially real money game offers – are lucrative also.

The videos and receipts pay much less. But one thing I like is that you can earn “daily rewards” just by agreeing to share your locational data with BrandBee.

For me, I earn $0.05 currently per day in daily rewards. That's a free $1.50 per month just for sharing my data, which is some nice passive income for zero work if you ask me!

This is also how the old Mobile Performance Meter app used to work. I like that BrandBee is keeping elements from the old app while adding more ways to earn.

What’s The Earning Potential?

Earnings really depend on your location, profile, and how much time you’re willing to spend. I think most people can easily make $10 to $25 per month with BrandBee just by turning on daily rewards and then by completing a couple of surveys in their spare time. If you also upload receipts, play games, and complete other offers, I think you can realistically make about $50 per month with BrandBee.

This app won’t replace a full-time income, but it’s a nice way to earn some side cash during downtime.

Is BrandBee Legit?

BrandBee is a highly rated app and legit way to make a bit of extra income. The app has a 4.4 star rating on the Google Play Store and impressive 5 star rating on the Apple App Store. I was also able to download the app and begin earning without any issues.

Just remember: this is a chill, fun phone side hustle. BrandBee won't make you rich and the overall earning potential is a bit low.

How To Cash Out?

BrandBee lets you redeem coins for PayPal payments or gift cards. You need 300 coins, which is worth $3, to redeem some rewards. However some gift cards require 500 or 1,000 coins to redeem.

A $3 redemption minimum is very low for the world of get-paid-to apps. And I love that free PayPal cash and prepaid Visa cards are also available.

Final Thoughts – Is BrandBee Worth Using?

After testing out BrandBee for over a month, I think this app is worth using. I love that you can earn on autopilot with the daily rewards. I also think it's a great survey app with some very competitive gaming offers. Plus, a $3 redemption minimum and the variety of rewards are selling points.

My main complaint is how tricky this app can be to qualify for. You have to be 18 or older and live in one of four countries. AND, many devices don't qualify for whatever reason.

However, if you do make it in, I think BrandBee is a great rewards app to add to your routine. Hopefully, this review helps you decide if it's right for you!
