Freecash Review 2025 – How I Made $150+ With This Legit Website

Freecash, a popular GPT site, claims that you can make a consistent $100 or more per month with its platform. And it lets people earn by downloading apps, playing mobile games, answering surveys, and more.

Since it's so popular, I decided to sign up and test it out for several weeks to learn how it works and if it's legitimate.

Since then, I've earned over $150 by completing tasks on Freecash. I've also cashed out numerous times and can confirm this website pays its members on time and delivers on what it says.

However, earning potential can vary greatly. There's also been a lot of recent changes since Freecash now requires new users to unlock Advanced Mode to access all of the offers.

So in this Freecash review, I'm sharing how it works, what my experience has been like, and some tips you can use to maximize your earnings if you sign up. Also, you can watch our video review to see how the site works and to see my first cash out for some proof!

My Key Takeaways:

  • Freecash is a free rewards site that pays you to play games, answer surveys, download apps, and more
  • It's free to sign up for and is available in dozens of countries
  • The highest paying offers are mobile gaming offers
  • I tested several games on Freecash and answered surveys to earn over $150 within the course of about a month
  • My hourly rate was around $4, and one of the gaming offers paid me almost $50, which was my best offer by far
  • I suggest using Freecash if you enjoy mobile games and want to earn cash, crypto, or gift cards
  • If you're looking for a full-time job, you should skip using this app and website

Is Freecash Legit?

Freecash might seem too good to be true, but this rewards platform is legit and pays you for completing short online tasks and for answering surveys. I was able to cash out with PayPal cash and got paid within a day. The company even has a 4.6 star rating on Trustpilot and is growing rapidly in popularity.

On top of that, Freecash has over 30 million users and has paid out millions of dollars in rewards to date. It also has 10+ million downloads on the Google Play Store and a 4.2 star average rating, with 152,000+ reviews.

Here is some Freecash payment proof from my account to prove that this website pays. This was the first time I cashed out almost $10, and the funds deposited in my PayPal account the very same day:

Freecash payment proof

In testing Freecash, I've found that the site is pretty easy to use. And I also like that there's plenty of ways to earn.

I think it has far fewer survey options than sites like Prolific or Branded Surveys, which I don't like. But the Offerwall section is pretty robust. And I like the variety of rewards and $5 minimum.

How Much Does Freecash Pay? – My Total Earnings & Experience

How much you earn with Freecash largely depends on the types of offers you complete. Some users make a few dollars per day whereas others make several hundred dollars per month.

In our experience, Freecash pays $2-5 per day (or $50-$150 per month) with a little bit of effort. If you’re absolutely grinding, you can likely make a lot more. The opposite goes for using it very casually.

So far, I've cashed out over $150 with Freecash to PayPal and Amazon. The site pays me quickly and on time, and I like how many earning options you have. Just take a look at this screenshot from my account where you can see all of my cash outs:

Overall, I think Freecash has decent earning potential and pays more than many other GPT websites. But it's not going to pay more than a few dollars per hour at most for most people.

What Is Freecash.com?

Freecash is a GPT (get-paid-to) website that lets you earn money by completing surveys, testing apps, signing up for brand offers, placing bets, and completing several other online tasks.

Freecash website

Freecash used to be called Freeskins.com, but the company rebranded in 2021. Nowadays, it's a fairly popular survey website that also has plenty of ways to earn.

If you've ever used survey sites like Branded Surveys or Toluna, Freecash should feel very easy to use and familiar.

And I will say that the site has some cool features, like a leaderboard section which shows you the top earners along with how much they’re making.

How Does Freecash Work? – 2025 Updates & Advanced Mode

To sign up, head over to Freecash.com and click on the “sign up” button on the top right.

The website asks for basic info like an email, password, and to create a username. Once you do that, you can start using Freecash to make some extra beermoney in your spare time.

However, Freecash has made some massive changes in 2025. New users now have limited / Lite Mode when they first sign up. This means you don't have access to the entire platform and must download a few apps and begin some offers to unlock Advanced Mode.

For example, in my account, I have to download at least one of these three games and then play the game a bit to unlock Advanced Mode:

  • Match Masters
  • Puzzles & Chaos
  • Raid Shadow Legends

In some countries, Freecash may require you to download several more games. And in some regions, you have to earn about $20 to reach level 20 before you unlock everything.

That said, Freecash now gives sign up bonuses now in certain regions and has different requirements to unlock Advanced Mode. Again, it all depends on your Zip Code.

The main reason Freecash is doing this is to encourage more engagement from users. It also helps prevent fraud. But trust me, you definitely want to unlock Advanced Mode since it adds tons of new earning methods, which I'll cover now.

How To Begin Earning With Freecash

Once you unlock Advanced Mode by completing a few gaming offers, here are all the other options you have to begin earning.

1. Answer Surveys

Answering surveys is the most popular way to make money with Freecash, which isn't too surprising since this is how most sites work.

You can find survey partners on your homepage, and Freecash works with companies like CPX Research, BitLabs, and Pollfish to provide surveys.

Freecash Surveys

At first, it might not seem like there are many options. But once you select one of the survey partners and answer a few questions, you see all the surveys you can take with them.

Surveys can pay $0.25 to $1, or a few dollars if you get lucky. This is a lower average rate than survey sites like Prolific and Kashkick, but it's pretty standard for the industry.

But keep in mind that a lot of the surveys are based on your demographics, so you might not qualify for that many surveys. And always be honest so you avoid getting banned.

2. Complete Offerwall Tasks & Gaming Offers

Another way to earn money with Freecash is to complete various Offerwall tasks. These are short gigs and sponsored offers that include:

Freecash offers

Offers are quite diverse, so you might find ones that require downloading a new mobile game to ones that pay you for trying out a new investing app. But I like that you can find offers for Android, Samsung, and iOS.

Some of the offers are quite lucrative as well, and you can find $10 bonuses to $50+ bonuses from various partners. Just note that for certain offers, you will need a valid credit card to sign up for things.

For example, there’s an offer in my Freecash account to sign up for a 3 month trial with Sirius XM radio for $1. You have to pay that $1 out of pocket, but the offer pays you over $6.

In other words, you usually get your money back for sign up deals which makes them pretty worth it. Just don’t forget to cancel your memberships before the trial period is up.

3. Refer Your Friends

Like many other survey sites, you can also make money with the Freecash referral program. This pays you 5% of all earnings someone makes if you invite them to the platform.

This is a nice way to earn passive income if you invite your friends. But I wish the site paid a flat dollar bonus so you could cash out faster.

However, your friends get a Free Case as a welcome bonus. A Free Case is like a “spin the wheel” prize where you can earn a random amount of free points depending on what it lands on.

4. Win Leaderboard Contests

If you’re at the top of the leaderboards on any given day, Freecash says that it pays you a $500 bonus. The company also pays out a $5,000 monthly bonus to the top earner on the site.

Freecash leaderboard

This is a lot of free money up for grabs. And it can make Freecash a more fun side hustle since you can compete with others. That said, it's a very competitive site since it's so popular. So I don't think it's realistic for most people to earn much money.

5. Promo Codes & Streak Rewards

If you follow Freecash on social media, the company randomly drops bonus codes that you can enter on the site.

Freecash promo codes let you spin the rewards wheel to earn a surprise amount of cash. However, the chances of hitting anything higher than $2.50 in rewards during a spin is pretty low, so don't expect to earn hundreds of dollars.

You can also use the Freecash promo code “free” when you sign up to get a free spin at the reward wheel. The rewards go up to $250, so you still have a chance at winning some decent cash.

PRO TIP: I've noticed that Freecash now has a new Quests feature too. These quests pay you bonus cash for completing certain achievements, like reaching an in-game milestone. You can also earn streak rewards by logging into Freecash consecutive days in a row, with large prize pools up for grabs every 7 days!

Cashing Out & Rewards

Freecash has some pretty unique rewards versus other survey sites. You can cash out with PayPal money as long as you have $5 in your account. But some other rewards include:

Freecash rewards

There are tons of other gift cards to choose from, and I also like that you can redeem free PayPal cash if you prefer actual money. Plus, the minimum payout amount is $0.50 for some rewards. However, most popular cash out options actually have a $5 minimum.

Just note that eventually, Freecash requires you to take a selfie to verify your identity before you cash out. This happened to me on my third PayPal withdrawal, so keep this in mind.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Free to sign up
  • Available in several countries
  • Excellent reward variety
  • Plenty of ways to earn
  • Monthly leaderboard contests and cash giveaways

Cons:

  • Not as many survey opportunities as some other GPT sites
  • Some users report being banned without any explanation or reason
  • You eventually have to verify your identity with a selfie to cash out

Other Freecash Reviews From Real Users

After testing out Freecash for this review, I think it's legit. But when it comes to making money online, it's also important to see what other users have to say about a website.

Personally, I think sources like Reddit or Quora are a great place to start. Here's what some other real users have to say about using this site:

  • PandaPlayzOCE says: “I spend about 1 – 2 Hours after school and make about 35$ a week maybe 50$ on a good week…maybe 10$ on a bad week.”
  • Viulle says: “Freecash is legit earning app. I have personally earned about 60 dollars in couple of months just by completing surveys now and then.”
  • Andrew Castor says: “They will ban you… Once you earn a certain amount and can cash out they will ban you for a random thing you didn’t do.”
  • Caius-87 says:“…didn't do many surveys and completed 2 Android games only. That added up to 6400 coins, the site's currency, which translates to $6.4 in 20 days.”
Freecash review Reddit

As you can see, most Freecash reviews are fairly positive, and one user even reports making about $35 to $50 per week with an hour or two of work per day.

One person complains about getting banned without any reason. But in my experience with survey sites, this usually stems from using a VPN or breaking some rule. Overall, it seems like Freecash's earning potential ranges from $20-200 per month depending on the amount of effort you put in. And this matches my experience with Freecash where I earned around $150.

Is Freecash Real Or Fake?

Freecash is a real site that pays out on time. And I was able to cash out on the site after completing several offers and earning referral bonuses. In fact, I've now earned over $50 with the platform and continue to earn.

It also pays you quickly via electronic gift card transfer or PayPal. There's plenty of payment proof online, so this site isn't fake and does pay its members.

Is Freecash A Scam?

Freecash isn't a scam. It’s a legit site that pays its users for competing tasks, and there are plenty of positive reviews online and proof of payment.

The site also pays out on time and you have plenty of cashout options to choose from. It’s just not going to make you rich or replace your day job.

Is Freecash Safe?

Freecash is safe and is very easy to use. I signed up in about one minute, and the site didn't ask for much personal information or my credit card. And I haven't had any negative experiences with using it so far in my testing.

I've also cashed out several times with Freecash by using PayPal. The process was always simple. Just make sure you're comfortable with sharing your personal information if you decide to answer surveys.

Also note that Freecash can ask you to verify your identity with a selfie before cashing out. This happened to me on my third redemption, so if you're not comfortable with this, don't use this website.

Is Freecash Worth It? – My Final Opinion

After trying out Freecash, I think it's a legit rewards website that's useful if you want plenty of ways to earn and more unique rewards. And I think it's worth using if you already spend time playing mobile games or want to try a fun, new side hustle.

I found the survey section a bit underwhelming. But the variety of rewards and robust Offerwall helps make up for this downside.

Ultimately, you can use Freecash if you want to make some quick money. Just have realistic expectations about how much money you can make.
