Tiger Butter Fudge Recipe

I was introduced to Tiger Butter Fudge this summer in North Carolina, and it was love at first bite! Tiger Butter Fudge is a delicious creamy combination of chocolate and peanut butter swirled together to resemble tiger stripes, and I've been on a mission to recreate this taste sensation. I'm thrilled with my version, and I hope you are too!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips divided
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter divided
  • 1/2 cup Reeses peanut butter chips
  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Melt white chocolate chips and 1/2 cup butterscotch chips on medium/high (70% power) for 1 minute.
  2. Stir and add 1/4 cup peanut butter.
  3. Microwave for additional 20 second intervals until smooth.
  4. Pour into a wax paper lined 8 x 8 pan.
  5. Microwave 2 cups of the chocolate chips on medium/high (70% power) for 1 minute.
  6. Stir and add remaining 1/4 cup peanut butter.
  7. Microwave for additional 20 second intervals until smooth.
  8. In a separate bowl, microwave the remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips, remaining 1/2 cup of butterscotch chips and 1/2 cup Reeses peanut butter chips on medium/high (70% power) for 1 minute.
  9. Stir and microwave for additional 20 second intervals until smooth.
  10. Combine both chocolate chip mixtures.
  11. Pour on top of the mixture in the 8 x 8 pan.
  12. Using a table knife, gently swirl the mixtures together to achieve a tiger stripe look.
  13. Refrigerate until firm.
  14. Let sit at room temperature 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Recipe Notes

Large amounts of chocolate must be microwaved in smaller batches, or the chocolate will seize and get hard which is why the chocolate is melted in separate batches.
