Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9 x 13 baking pan.
  2. Beat together cake mix, oil, sour cream and eggs on low until combined. Increase speed to high and beat 2 minutes.
  3. Pour into baking pan.
  4. In a small bowl, stir together brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Sprinkle evenly on top of cake batter and use a knife to swirl. (I make "S" shapes throughout the cake with my knife...you can't really see the swirls until the cake is baked, so don't swirl too much!)
  6. Bake 40 minutes at 325º.
  7. Cool 10 minutes.
  8. Prepare icing by stirring together powdered sugar and milk.
  9. Pour over the slightly cooled cake.
