Serves: 5 taco seasoning packets
Have you ever considered making your own taco seasoning? This recipe makes the equivalent of 5 taco seasoning packets for a fraction of the cost!
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- Stir all ingredients together and store in an airtight container.
- One packet of taco seasoning = Two tablespoons of Homemade Taco Seasoning









Oooh…thank you for posting this! I’ve discovered my daughter will now willingly eat tacos. Who knew?! Love school lunches broadening her horizons in the food department. Hahaha! Anyway, I was just thinking the other day that I needed a good taco mix recipe so I wouldn’t have to buy the seasoning packets.
