Our family LOVES macaroni and cheese, so I enjoy experimenting with recipes! As of today, this is our favorite quick version!  It’s delicious and just as fast as the box!

Quick Macaroni and Cheese

Better than the box and just as fast!
Ingredients
  • 16 oz. box of elbow macaroni
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions, drain.
  2. In a large saucepan, heat milk.
  3. Add American cheese, cheddar cheese, cream cheese and stir until melted.
  4. Stir in cooked macaroni and salt and pepper.
