DIY Bath Bombs Make Perfect Holiday Gifts

DIY bath bombs are great Christmas gift to your woman. It is not only easy to make but also explodes tantalizing scent to help you relax.

If you can’t get enough of the bath bombs but it seems the pricey ones at local store are breaking your bank, then this is the perfect project for you. It only takes a few steps, you need only several ingredients and will surely help you calm down after a long day. Drop it in your bath and watch it explodes  spreading the relaxing smell you really need. Try this bath bomb recipe and have a spa at the comforts of your home.

What you need:

  1. 1 cup baking soda
  2. 1/2 cup corn starch
  3. 1/2 cup citric acid
  4. 1/2 cup Epsom salt
  5. 3 tablespoons of essential oils
  6. 1 teaspoon of water
  7. Circle casing
  8. Food coloring

Mix all the dry ingredients into one bowl. Add essential oils and water. You can use any essential oil depending on what scent you want to achieve.

Step 1:Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add essential oils and water.

Add a few drops of food coloring and stir. Do various colors in different bowls. We will mix them later.

Step 2:Add food coloring and stir.

Get one half of the circle casing and pour a spoonful of mixture. Use the back of the spoon to press it down. Take the other half and pour another spoonful of the mixture of another color. Press it down. Make sure the two halves are almost full. Then, press them together. Wait for a few minutes to achieve that perfect ball.

Step 3:Pour spoonful of the mixture into the casing and press them together.

And you are done! Put it in your bath and immerse yourself to help you loosen up.
