Not sure what to do with overripe bananas? This Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie is the answer, and it’s ideal for a healthy breakfast or an after school snack!
Ingredients
- 1 frozen, sliced banana
- 1 cup milk (skim, low fat, soy milk…it’s your choice!)
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Enjoy!
Notes
I keep a zip top bag full of frozen, sliced bananas in the freezer. It takes about 10 slices to equal 1 banana. Now you know what to do with your overripe bananas!

Thanks this sounds delicious. Peanut butter is a no no in our house since my son as a severe allergy but I would do the same thing just skipping the peanut butter, maybe even adding a little coco powder. Thanks, you always have great ways to live better for less!
