I test out various apps that pay you when you play games all the time. So when I saw the Snakzy app taking off in the Google Playstore, I definitely wanted to give it a try.

This is yet another free Android rewards app where you get paid to download and play different games. And after trying it out for a couple of hours and testing it out, it looks like it has potential.

That said, this app really isn't doing anything new. And when I tested it out, I could only download a handful of games, so variety is certainly lacking. Plus, when you compare Snakzy to some of the top apps in this space like Cash Giraffe or Mistplay, I personally don't think it holds up.

Snakzy still seems like a legit app that pays its players. But again, no gaming reward app will make you rich!

Is The Snakzy App Legit?

The Snakzy app is super similar to a lot of other Android gaming apps out there. This is a legit way to earn a little bit of money on the side. However, you won't earn more than a dollar or two per hour unless you spend money on in-game purchases.

If you spend a ton of time gaming, you could give this app a try. But if you're not a fan of Android mobile games, skip this app entirely.

What Is The Snakzy App?

Like I mentioned, Snakzy is new mobile app for Android that lets you download and play new games to earn cash and gift cards.

Snakzy partners with various game developers to promote these games. If you've used apps like Mistplay, Rewarded Play, or the many other gaming reward platforms out there, then you're going to feel quite at home with this app.

You can download the app for free and then create an account with your email or Gmail account. Just note that Snakzy is only available in the United States, Canada, and the UK right now.

Once you download the app and enable usage tracking, you're ready to begin playing to earn! Note that you have to enable usage tracking for Snakzy to work properly since it has to detect how long you're spending on various gaming offers.

How Does Snakzy Work & What Games Can You Play?

Once you sign up for Snakzy, the app quickly prompts you to download a few games from a rotating list of games.

You have to shuffle through this list and pick at least one game to download to begin using the app.

I chose Mafia City, a popular simulation/strategy game. I also had a few other games to choose from, including a crypto mining game, a puzzle game, and a few simulator games.

I don't like this style of getting forced to download an app before I even know how the Snakzy platform works. And I'll also admit: I was surprised at how few games I could download and the limited selection.

In any case, games tell you how much money you can earn in total. Snakzy pays you with coins, the in-app currency, as you complete milestones in-game. You then convert your coins for free gift cards or PayPal funds.

Anyways, I downloaded Mafia City. And once you get inside the Snakzy app, you can see your gaming offers that are in progress. Tapping on an offer also shows you all of the milestones and what you need to do to begin earning.

Snakzy does a good job at offering players some beginner-friendly milestones. This is always a green flag for a gpt app or website.

However, keep in mind that to earn the most coins, you either need to spend money on in-app purchases or do some serious grinding. So overall, I'd say the Snakzy app has fairly low earning potential. And again, I'm not too impressed by the game selection.

Other Ways To Earn Coins

Gaming offers are the main way to earn coins. But Snakzy also lets you earn coins by completing various daily tasks, like playing a game for 10 minutes. Players also get coins and begin streaks by consistently playing games for consecutive days.

This, mixed with random giveaways, helps reward players for consistent use. But again, the main method to earn is to download and play new games. At this time, I couldn't find a referral bonus either which is unfortunate.

Cashing Out & Rewards

Snakzy lets you redeem 500 coins for a $5 reward if you live in the United States. In Canada, it's 700 coins for a $5 reward. You can also redeem PayPal money, Venmo payments, or gift cards to companies like Amazon and Apple.

A $5 redemption minimum is pretty standard for gaming reward apps. And from the Snakzy app reviews I've seen online, people report getting paid within a few days of requesting a reward.

What Is The Earning Potential?

Like most gaming side hustle apps, Snakzy won’t make you rich. You can expect to earn anywhere from $5 to $20 per month, depending on how many games you play and how much time you spend in them.

High-paying games also require serious time investment or spending money on in-app purchases to complete the milestones in time. Overall, don't expect this app to pay very much per month.

In short, Snakzy is best suited for people who already enjoy mobile gaming and want to earn a bit of pocket money in the background.

Is Snakzy Worth Using? My Final Thoughts

After trying out the Snakzy app, I think it's worth using if you spend a lot of time playing games and want to earn a little side dough for your time. And if you enjoy using apps like Cash Giraffe or Mistplay, then this app is certainly up your alley.

Just have realistic expectations. I don't think most people will earn more than $5 to $10 per month with Snakzy. And I'm hopeful that the app continues to add more games to really make the app more robust.
