Homemade bubblegum candy corn is the perfect Trick or Treat sweets for kids. Satisfy your sweet tooth!

Create something fun and delicious this Halloween and you will surely impress family and friends. Homemade bubblegum candy corn is so soft and a tasty sweet treat that won’t take much of your time. Although, you can buy a bag of it from local store, nothing beats the feeling of creating something by your hands. Moreover, it will surely make you a superhero to your kids.

What you need:

  1. Powdered sugar
  2. Marshmallows
  3. 3 types of food dye
  4. A large bowl

Start by putting 4 cups of marshmallow into a large bowl and add 2 tbps of water. Pop into the microwave for a minute or until the marshmallow has melted. Mix it with rubber spatula until smooth texture is achieved.

Step 1:Melt 4 cups of marshmallow in the microwave and mix until it becomes smooth.

Add 4 cups of powdered sugar and mix until you can’t mix no more. Sprinkle powdered sugar on the flat surface and start kneading the dough until it looks like a fat cylinder. Separate the dough into three parts.

Step 2:Add 4 cups of powdered sugar and mix.

Grab one part and add food coloring and start kneading again. It may take a few hours to achieve a colored dough. Repeat the step on other parts of dough by using the two remaining food dyes.

Step 3:Knead the dough and cut into three parts. Add food dye to each part.

Cut the dough into half and roll it out creating a long snake. Do the same with other colors. Then, line the colors next to each other. It is alright if they stick to each other. If they don’t, you should add a bit of water on their sides.

Step 4:Take half of each part of dough and roll them out to make long snakes.

Start cutting the strips into desired shape. In this tutorial, candy corn is shaped into triangles.
