ZBD: Earn Bitcoin Rewards is a free money making app that lets you earn small amounts of BTC, known as Satoshis (Sats), in exchange for completing simple tasks. It's a legit rewards app, and for anyone looking to earn a tiny bit of crypto on the side, it could be worth trying.
That said, ZBD doesn't pay very much. I tested it out and found that the game variety is decent. However, the rates are lower than what most get-paid-to sites payout. The survey rates were also bad, so I don't think ZBD is really worth using for most people.
This ZBD app review is covering my experience with the app, how it works, and what you should expect in terms of earnings. Let's go!

Key Takeaways:
- ZBD is an Android and iOS rewards app that lets you play games, answer paid surveys, and complete tasks to earn fractions of BTC, known as Satoshis (Sats)
- 1 Bitcoin = 100,000,000 Satoshis
- You can exchange your Sats for Bitcoin but also convert to cash to redeem for CashApp payments or free gift cards
- ZBD is quite globally friendly
- Earning potential is low, and I found that ZBD pays less than most leading reward apps
- Overall ZBD is legit but not an app I recommend using due to low payouts
What Is The ZBD App?
ZBD is a Bitcoin-powered rewards app that pays you small amounts of crypto for doing things like playing games, answering surveys, completing offers, and engaging with ads.
The app is similar to reward apps like Freecash and Branded Surveys. However, the unique selling point is that ZBD is crpto-based. It lets you cash out with crypto, and your earnings deposit to your own ZBD wallet, which you can then cash out with to various crypto exchanges.

As you complete offers, Sats deposit in your ZBD wallet. Again, it's basically like other reward apps, just crypto-based.
What's nice is that ZBD is available on both Android and iOS. It's free to sign up for too, although there's no sign up bonus, which I'm a bit disaapointed in.
Anyways, once you create your account, you're basically ready to start completing offers and earning, so let me walk you through how this works.
How Does ZBD Work?
ZBD has a variety of ways you can make money. But most of the app focuses around completing offers like games and surveys.
Here’s how you actually earn:
- Play Games: This is the main hook. You’ll find a rotating list of mobile games where you earn sats for reaching specific levels or completing tasks.
- Complete Offers: Some are classic “get paid to” deals—sign up for a service, take a cash survey, or try an app.
- Daily Rewards & Bonuses: Small, consistent payouts just for opening the app or staying active.

Tapping on a game shows you how many Satoshis it pays. This is honestly kind of confusing since it takes 100,000,000 Satoshis to equal 1 BTC, and the price of BTC fluctuates…So you don't really know how much you're making with a game unless you do some math…
There's also surveys which are powered by Prime Opinion. You can also look for different offers, like trying out free trials or shopping online, through ZBD's partner RevU:

Finally, you can also earn by inviting your friends through referral bonuses and by logging in consistently to get streak rewards.
Again, everything you earn is credited in sats (fractions of Bitcoin), and it shows up almost instantly in your ZBD wallet.
One thing worth noting: this isn’t passive. You’re trading time for money, and the hourly rate is low. And again, everything is spelled out in Satoshis which is kinda hard to conceptualize.
Rewards & Cashing Out?
ZBD lets you cash out your Satoshis via the Lightning Network, so payments are extremely fast (nearly instant) and have super low fees. And it's easy to move your crypto from the ZBD app to exchanges like Coinbase, Kraken, and others.

ZBD also lets you convert your Sats into cash. You can then cash out via CashApp or for various gift card rewards.
Realistically, most users earn anywhere from a few cents to a couple of dollars per day depending on activity. This is not a “quit your job” app—it’s more like “get paid while you’re already scrolling.”

Pros & Cons
Pros
- Pays in Bitcoin, which has upside potential
- Instant cashouts with no meaningful fees
- Low payout threshold (you don’t wait weeks to withdraw)
- Variety of rewards
- Wide variety of games
- Works in many countries where other apps don’t
Cons
- Low earning potential (this is pocket change, not income)

- Some offers can feel repetitive or grindy
- Earnings depend heavily on available game deals in your region
- You’re still trading time for money
- The Satoshi system is confusing to keep track of
Other Reward Apps I Suggest Using
I love testing out reward apps and side hustles. But when it comes to making money with your phone, I think ZBD isn't worth using. The payments are too low and confusing, and besides, tons of other reward apps now offer crypto rewards.
Some better reward apps I use and suggest you check out include:
- Freecash
- BigCash
- Gemsloot
- Scrambly
- Kashkick
- Branded Surveys
- Cointiply
- Copper
- InboxDollars
- Swagbucks
- Mistplay
I also put out a video covering some legit phone side hustles you can check out for even more options besides using ZBD.
Is ZBD Worth Using? – My Final Thoughts
After downloading the ZBD app and trying it out, I'm pretty underwhelmed. I like that this app is global and lets users earn crypto. But honestly, the payout rates aren't competitive and the Satoshi system is confusing.
I think there are much better side hustle ideas out there and higher earning apps. Hopefully, some of the alternatives I recommend work out for you! And I also hope this ZBD review helps you decide if this app is worth the download.
