A homemade soap that shapes like a soda bottle. It is a great gift or addition to your bathroom.

Another fun and crafty DIY project that you must try. DIY Soap using Soda Bottle is one-of-a-kind way to make soap which looks exactly like a soda, you won’t even see the difference. If you are excited, then let’s get it started.

What you need:

  1. Soda bottle
  2. Clear glycerin soap
  3. Cacao powder
  4. Rubbing alcohol

Remove the label of the bottle and wash it thoroughly. Set it aside to dry. Grab the clear glycerin soap, take it out from the container and cut it into cubes. Place the cubes in a cup. Bake it in the oven for 30 seconds and with additional 10 seconds interval until the soap has melted.

Step 1:Cut the soap into cubes and melt it in the oven.

Take it out from the oven and add a bit of cacao powder and stir. Slowly add more cacao powder and stir until you obtained the desired color. Use spoon or beater to mix the ingredients well. If done, let it cool down for a bit.

After a few minutes, use spoon to remove the foam floating on top of the mixture. Grab the rubbing alcohol and sprinkle some in the mixture.

Step 3:Remove the foam using spoon.

Fill a bowl with cold water and place the soda bottle on the middle. Then, start pouring the soap. If done, set it aside to harden.

Step 4:Pour the cacao-soap mixture into the empty soda bottle and let it harden.

Once the soap has cured, grab the razor blade and give the bottle a small cut. Gradually peel the plastic bottle. You may use scissors to make the work easier. If you have completely removed the plastic bottle, place the soda label around the soap.
