How do you know that the cards aren’t already used by the people selling them? If there are security proceudres in place I would love this idea.

Some of the cards are partially used or merchandise credit, but either way, Plastic Jungle guarantees they will work. I’ve been buying them regularly for 3+ years, and I’ve never had a problem.

I have heard of Plastic Jungle before. I have a friend who sells them her gift cards and she just loves their service. I think it’s a great way to get rid of unwanted cards without losing spending potential. I can’t count the number of times I have received a gift card only to let it waste away in my purse. With this type of service, someone can use the card who really wants it, and you get the cash back (with a deduction applied, of course) to buy what you want. It seems pretty win-win if you’re probably not going to use the card anyway.

My wallet always has discounted gift cards to stores I normally shop (Target, Petsmart, Lowes & Office Depot), and I make sure to buy a few before a clothes shopping trip! By the way, you’ll find discounted gift cards to restaurants!

Cindy…you’ll be hooked, and you’ll really love it for Christmas shopping! I’m in the habit of checking it every Monday, and ordering gift cards to stores I know I’ll be shopping in the near future. My wallet always has discounted gift cards for Target, Home Depot, Office Depot and Petsmart.
