Would you pay $50 for an item from a certain store when you could purchase the exact same item for $15? NO! Who would? This is why I love discount stores. Seriously. I am the discount store queen, and I sit upon a throne that I paid 75% less than retail price for!

Today, I’ll help you save money by sharing 4 discount stores that sell nearly everything you could possibly need!

Page Contents

  • 1. Burke’s Outlet
  • 2. Big Lots
  • 3. Tuesday Morning
  • 4. Treasure Hunt

1. Burke’s Outlet

One of my most favorite stores, Burke’s Outlet offers up loads of discount clothing, shoes, accessories and home decor items. They have 235 locations in 17 states, so check to see if there is one near you and pay them a visit.

While they have super cute clothing, shoes and jewelry, my favorite is their selection of home decor items. Not only are you already receiving the items at a discount, but they are always putting items on clearance so you can save even more money.

2. Big Lots

Big Lots is another fantastic store, offering more than just home decor and furniture. They sell food as well. They get new shipments of items quite frequently, which is why I love shopping here for seasonal items and decor. They have 1,495 stores in 48 different states, so there’s a good chance you have one nearby.

I went to my local Big Lots about a week ago and picked up a super cute black iron paper towel holder for $3 and saw the same thing in a larger department store for $20 a few days later. Score!

3. Tuesday Morning

Sigh. I could literally spend hours in my local Tuesday Morning browsing through the furniture, home decor items, health and beauty section and various other goodies. Just ask my husband! This is one of those stores where I feel like everything for sale was made just for me.

My absolute favorite? The bath items. From french-milled guest soaps of all scents wrapped in gorgeous paper to lotions and oils and salts – it’s my favorite place to purchase all the bath goodies I can get my hands on! They offer up brands like Lenox, KitchenAid, Peacock Alley, Royal Doulton and more. Tuesday Morning has over 800 stores, so look for one in your local community.

4. Treasure Hunt

Located throughout the southern states, Treasure Hunt sells deeply discounted items of all kinds – clothing, home decor, consumables, health and beauty products, etc. They purchase lots of items that have been in damaged stores, which allows them to resell those items for an insanely cheap price.

I love this store for their home decor items. Every once in a while, you have to do a little digging to find something great but most of the time I find fantastic items that are in immaculate shape. Recently, I purchased gorgeous throw pillows for my living room at $6 a piece, an area rug for less than $10 and shabby chic bathroom wall hooks for $3 a piece. I absolutely love this store!

So there you have it – my 4 favorite discount stores. Is there one in your area that you love? One that isn’t included in this list? Share with us in the comments below!
