When we moved from Texas to Florida, we gave up our gym membership because we were determined run and bike on the beautiful waterfront trails. So far, so good except it’s not always sunny in Florida! Rather than taking a day off when the weather doesn’t cooperate, I’ve discovered some great home workout routines on Pinterest that don’t require any equipment. I love the 100 calorie workout and 15 minute workout for days when I’m really pressed for time. There’s even a TV commercial workout, so you can watch your favorite shows and exercise only during the commercials…how fun is that?
Why do I love working out at home?
- Saves money – no equipment or gym memberships to buy
- It’s not a fashion show! Wear what you want because nobody’s watching…that’s a money saver too!
- Saves time and money because you eliminate driving to and from the gym.
- Watch the TV show you want instead of what’s playing at the gym.
The moral of this story? Don’t be lured by expensive workout equipment or fancy gym memberships because you really can get fit for free. It’s been 6 months, I’m still in great shape and my budget is too!
