QUICK NOTE: I’ve noticed that many of these offers not only send you a free coupon on your birthday, but will also send you a coupon the very day you sign up for the club AND at every one year anniversary of you signing up. Throw in all the free coupons they send around your birthday and you can get multiple meals a year for free because most offers do not require that you use them on your birthday.
Many of these offers and coupons are via e-mail, so be sure to sign up in advance. And remember, all deals are subject to location participation. So if you’re standing in the middle of Arby’s screaming for a free milkshake and they aren’t budging, don’t blame me!

Thanks to my friend Terri for sharing this tip about birthday freebies at Disney…if you’re going to Disney, there is a birthday button that you get when you pay for your ticket. You can ask for freebies throughout the day (especially wherever you are dining) We were at Disney last weekend (for my husband and son’s birthday) and these are the things we got free from EPCOT and Magic Kingdom: free medium coke, free pineapple spear, free Cracker Jack, (2) free chocolate dipped marshmallows, and 1 free bag of gummy bears.

Just a note about the Disney World freebies (coming from a former Cast Member): It is true that wearing a Birthday Button will often get you perks throughout the day from Cast Members who are feeling nice, but it’s not an official (and thus to-be-expected) way of getting free stuff. Birthday perks are meant to be considered as ‘extra magic’ and, while they are often given out, should never be demanded. Please don’t be one of those rude guests who gets all offended if they don’t get as much free stuff as they’re expecting just because they’re wearing the Birthday Button! 🙂
