Tres Leches – A Great Cinco de Mayo Dessert!

Tres Leches

Quick and easy! Perfect for Cinco de Mayo or a Fiesta!
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 35 minutes
Total Time 45 minutes
Servings 20

Ingredients

  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix + ingredients to prepare cake
  • 15 oz. can cream of coconut like Coco Lopez - if your grocery doesn't sell it check the liquor store
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 12 oz. Cool Whip - thawed
  • Fresh sliced strawberries sweetened with sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare cake according to package directions.
  2. Let the cake cool.
  3. Poke holes all over the cake using the handle of a wooden spoon.
  4. Mix together cream of coconut & condensed milk and pour over the cake.
  5. Refrigerate.
  6. Spread Cool Whip on top before cutting into squares.
  7. Top with sliced strawberries.
