Ingredients

  • 4 Cube Steaks
  • Salt & Black Pepper
  • 1 ¼ cup all-purpose flour plus 2 Tbs for gravy
  • 2 ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 lg eggs
  • Canola oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients. Put the steak into the oven and switch it on to low temperature. This will keep the steak warm while creating the gravy.
  2. Fill the skillet with canola oil, then set to medium-high treat.
  3. Use pepper and salt to season the cube steak. Blend ½ cup of milk and eggs in a bowl.
  4. Pour flour into a platter and put pepper and salt. Get one steak and cover it fully with flour. Do the same with other steak.
  5. After the steaks are floured, soak them into the egg mixture. Let the excess egg drip, then bring them back to the flour.
  6. Fry until brown enough. One and one-half minutes for each side. If the steaks are a bit too thick, then wait a little longer to fry them. After they are golden brown, place them on a baking sheet to keep them warm.
  7. Gravy Instructions:
  8. Clean the skillet thoroughly and pour 2 tablespoon of oil and bring to medium heat.
  9. Pour 2 tablespoon of flour and whisk. Put dash of pepper and salt.
  10. Whisk until the flour turn brown.
  11. Pour milk and keep mixing until it thickens.
  12. Your gravy is ready! Place it to the gravy boat or bowl.
