A Texas party is not complete without chips & queso! You’ll love this quick and easy recipe!

    • Ingredients:
    • 1 pound white American cheese slices from the deli (trust me, the kind from the deli is what makes this queso wonderful!)
    • 4 oz. can green chiles, diced
    • 4 oz. can jalapenos, diced
    • 1 cup milk
    • Directions:
    • Put all ingredients in a saucepan and stir over medium heat until melted.
    • Note:  for a milder queso, use 2, 4 oz. cans of green chiles and omit the jalapeños.

Love this recipe – too late for Super Bowl but for next weekend. Is this also a slow cooker recipe?

I don’t see why it wouldn’t work in a slow cooker! Just cook and shred the chicken first, and then add all the other ingredients.
