Not sure what to do with overripe bananas? This Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie is the answer, and it’s ideal for a healthy breakfast or an after school snack! An immersion blender is ideal for a single serving, and it makes clean up easy!
Ingredients
  • 1 frozen, sliced banana
  • 1 cup milk (skim, low fat, soy milk…it’s your choice!)
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Enjoy!
Notes
I keep a zip top bag full of frozen, sliced bananas in the freezer. It takes about 10 slices to equal 1 banana. Now you know what to do with your overripe bananas!

Thanks this sounds delicious. Peanut butter is a no no in our house since my son as a severe allergy but I would do the same thing just skipping the peanut butter, maybe even adding a little coco powder. Thanks, you always have great ways to live better for less!
